Clara Alonso, Vice President, People at Seabreeze, brings more than 25 years of executive human resources experience. As Vice President, People, Clara oversees all of Seabreeze’s human resources strategy, culture stewardship, and talent management to continue to foster an inclusive, people-first culture, creating an exceptional employee experience that delivers greater commitment to performance excellence. Clara also joins the Seabreeze Executive Team, which oversees the strategic direction of the organization.  

Prior to Seabreeze, Clara held senior human resources leadership roles at Amazon.com, Louis Vuitton, and PepsiCo. She is deeply committed to operational excellence across the entire employee lifecycle, and the pivotal moments that shape engagement, leadership, and retention. Clara’s people philosophy focuses on individuals’ strengths to unlock their full potential. Clara’s leadership philosophy centers on preserving the cultural elements that make an organization special, while augmenting them to drive greater engagement. 

Born in California, Clara earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from California State University, Los Angeles. She also completed the Chief Human Resources Program at the University of California, Los Angeles, and holds credentials as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), and Professional Certified Coach (PCC). When she’s not working, Clara enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering in her community, and working with youth and the juvenile hall system.
