Seabreeze Management Caps Off Banner Year of Growth with Top Workplaces Award
Company continues to expand its service area and business model to meet demand
ALISO VIEJO, CA (December 22, 2021) – Seabreeze Management Company, Inc., a leading residential and commercial property management firm, today announced the company’s 2021 growth highlights. Despite a labor shortage, an ongoing pandemic, and residual changes from 2020, Seabreeze exceeded its commitments to customers and continued to add new clients, team members, and acquire other property management companies. Seabreeze was also named a Top Workplace by the Orange County Register for the fifth year in a row.
In 2021, Seabreeze acquired two new organizations: Fidelity Management Services in Chatsworth, California, and Apex Management Group in Bakersfield, CA. Between the acquisitions and internal hiring, the Seabreeze umbrella now employs more than 500 team members serving over 500 associations and 100,000 homes. The number of units Seabreeze now serves has grown nearly 20% compared to 2020.
In addition to acquisitions, Seabreeze continues to invest in new markets under its regional brand strategy. The company recently opened its Desertbreeze offices to serve the Phoenix, Arizona area. Recently, Desertbreeze won the business of a 336-unit single family community from a competitive bid process, signaling that this organization is poised to be a major player in the Phoenix market.
While Seabreeze continues to strengthen its core offerings, 2021 market demands opened up new opportunities to expand the existing company footprint. This year, Seabreeze opened SMC Maintenance, the company’s in-house maintenance services. Headed up by a licensed contractor, SMC Maintenance not only enabled Seabreeze to guarantee basic maintenance services in spite of a labor shortage, it allows team members to work alongside current vendors to navigate larger community needs. This new business model is currently available for all Southern California clients and will be available in Northern California in 2022.
In December, Seabreeze Management was named a Top Workplace by the Orange County Register for 2021. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization: including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.
