Human Resources Assistant

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Human Resources this position provides administrative support for the Director and Human Resources department. In addition to filing and organizing, this position performs duties such as preliminary phone screens, benefits enrollment, coordination of meetings and conferences, obtaining supplies, coordinating direct mailings, and working on special projects. Also, this position is responsible for answering non-routine correspondence and assembles highly confidential and sensitive information. Deals with a diverse group of external callers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization.

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is an hourly, full-time position. Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.


Occasional travel is expected for this position.

Language Skills:

The position requires proficiency with US English. The individual must have strong written communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with employees and clients at all levels of the organization, both orally and in writing.
